About the role
We are seeking a Vice President to join the Brookfield Hong Kong office.
Brookfield is seeking an experienced relationship manager to drive wealth management sales across Greater China (Hong Kong, Taiwan Mainland China).
The role will be primarily focussed on both building new relationships and deepening penetrations with private banks, wealth managers, securities firms who are providing alternative fund and solutions to their high-net-worth client base.
The role will represent across Brookfield’s investment platform including our private funds (close and open ended), daily liquid public securities capabilities and semi-liquid vehicles.
This role will focus on creating new opportunities and deepening penetrations within the wealth management channel across Greater China.
The candidate will be an experienced sales and client facing person, to maximize fund raise and drive cross-sell opportunities.
Responsibilities include:
Grow Brookfield’s wealth management business in Greater China, especially in Hong Kong.
Contribute to the client outreach and coverage in Taiwan and China (offshore and onshore) as a team.Deepen the relationship with distributors across client’s product, specialist, IC, RM teams, increase wallet share, maximize AUM raise, deepen product penetration, drive cross-sell opportunitiesAble to drive strategic partnerships with key clients with holistic view in mind.Initiate meetings and sales activities to create constant demand; arrange roadshows, seminars, client events, 1-1 meetings, etc.Manage all aspects of the sales life cycle.

Strong track record of wealth management fund raising and business developmentQuantifiable track record of raising capital within wealth management channelExperience in alternatives including private real estate, infrastructure, private equity, semi liquids and liquid real assets.Solid product knowledge, be able to present the products and handle questions professionally.A strong network of relationships within the private wealth channel in Hong Kong with a focus of global and regional private banks, as well as other types of wealth management channelsAt least 8-10 years’ experience in capital raising roles for private wealth/intermediary sales channel in Hong Kong / Greater ChinaFluent in Cantonese and English, Mandarin is a plus.Outstanding relationship-building, communication, and presentation skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills in dealings with clients and internal stakeholdersAble to adapt to fast changing environment, organized and detailed-oriented.Strong written and verbal communication skills including preparation and delivery of presentations.Self-motivated and proactive with respect to managing workload and new business originationExperience of working in an international organisation and willingness to be flexible with hours as part of a global organisationOccasional business travelAdvanced Excel, PowerPoint, and analytical skillsTeam player, collaborative, self-disciplined, have a sense of ownership and entrepreneurship.
