Duties
Provide academic and personalised support to the students under the Student-Athlete Learning Support and Admission Scheme;Plan, coordinate, and organise local and non-local student development activities of the Department, including Student Chapter, student mentoring, and student advising arrangements;Provide high-quality training for students to prepare them as future leaders; andCoordinate community servicing activities with different stakeholders. Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences with a major in Psychology/Social Work/Sociology/Criminology or related disciplines.
A Master’s degree or a Doctoral/PhD degree will be an asset for consideration;Experience in providing academic advising or mentoring for students in the tertiary education sector;Good command of English and Chinese;A strong growth mindset and commitment to student development;Excellent communication, collaboration, and people skills to work with internal and external stakeholders; andA long-term interest in sports would be a plus.
