Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction across a team of analysts, setting expectations and providing coaching, training and feedback Support ongoing personal development of team members Formulate and adhere to annual objectives, while driving change in the supply chain to meet Canadian Tire’s evolving business needs Offshore liaison to Canadian Tire teams based in Canada, providing on the ground support Play a pivotal role in master data governance and be the logistics subject matter expert Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the offshore product flow processes to enable oversight of the VMS system and physical flow problem solving Requirements
University degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, Business or related fields Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Supply Chain and other related field with increasing leadership and cross- functional project management experiences 3 or more years’ experience of managing supply chain team for North America retailers is preferrable Experience interacting with merchandising, distribution, order management, transportation, and finance Capability to complete managerial level business analysis to quantify operational execution progress, vendor improvements, risk analysis, and to drive the case for change Aptitude to plan and lead at both the strategic and operational level Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to direct and measure the team Strong presentation and communication skills
