About the role
The Stewarding Assistant Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, controlling and directing the work of employees in the Stewarding department.
What you will do
Supervise and coordinate the activities of all stewarding attendants to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the department
Ensure the neatness, cleanliness and order of all kitchens, back of the house areas, storage areas, stewarding machinery, compactor room, carts and tables through constant monitoring and a vigorous cleaning schedule
Assure hygiene techniques, proper sanitation and supply of clean silverware for hotel outlets
Requisite, store, stock, collect, wash and restock china, silver, glass and other equipment in designated areas of the hotel according to a predetermined par stock
What you bring
Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the Cantonese, Mandarin and English language
Bachelor degree, preferable in hotel management
1-2 years in stewarding management and or supervisory experience
Knowledge of service, cost control in F&B, labor controls, maintenance, merchandising and accounting
