Join Asset Management Technology to contribute development initiatives to the Fixed Income Portfolio Management system for APAC business.
As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the Global Fixed Income Currency & Commodities (GFICC) Portfolio Management Technology team, you will play a key role in delivering secure, stable, and scalable solutions to support the firm’s business objectives.
You will work collaboratively as part of an agile team to enhance and build a market-leading Fixed Income Portfolio Management system.
In addition to being a core technical contributor, you will liaise with the APAC GFICC desk resolving regional requirements and ensuring alignment with global builds.
Job responsibilities
Writes secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidance Collaborate with global teams to deliver core builds and resolve dependencies with a delivery-focused mindset. Act as a technical liaison for the APAC GFICC desk, maintaining high visibility and clear communication. Identify and articulate gaps between global build and regional requirements, collaborating with product owners and project managers to drive delivery. Formal training in software engineering concepts and 2+ years hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability. Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages. Exposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security. Emerging knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Fixed income experience is a plus. Familiarity with microservices & modern front-end technologies [Java/Spring Boot, JavaScript/React] Exposure to cloud & distributed architectures [AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka] and monitoring [Splunk, Datadog, Grafana]
