About the Role
As a Site M&E Manager, you will be overseeing all mechanical and electrical aspects of project delivery, including coordinating with stakeholders, reviewing contractor submission and monitoring progress and budget.
Key Responsibilities
Assist Construction Manager to drive processes throughout construction to completion in M&E related areas according to tenders, compliances and regulatory standards.Coordinate with stakeholders including end users, consultants, government authorities, contractors, suppliers and corporate office on all M&E matters.Review contractors M&E submissions and proposals with input from design consultants and corporate office.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure M&E works adhere to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.Prepare MEP related site instructions and variation orders according to standard procedure.Manage project close out including the T&C and handover process for M&E installations and ensuring full set of as built drawings / O&M manuals / warranty documentation are in place and handed over to end users. About You
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering or related field; discipline-related professional membership would be an advantage.At least 10 years of relevant experience in managing large scale multi-discipline M&E projects, preferably in Hotel or high-end commercial projects in Hong Kong.Experience in refitting M&E systems in existing buildings, phased M&E upgrades in operating business environments and coordination with frontline operations.Familiar with local building codes, Hotel licensing submissions and Standard Form of Contract.Understanding of local construction practices and labour dynamics.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and AutoCAD (for reviewing drawings).Proficiency in time and cost control, handling variations, delays and claims from contractors / suppliers.Strong leadership, interpersonal skills, strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.Fluent in spoken and written English and Cantonese.
