What We Offer

We are seeking an energetic individual for a Senior Sales Executive – Japan position with the Nasdaq data sales team.

This role will be responsible for driving new sales of Nasdaq data products as well as managing client relationships with existing customers in Japan.

In this role, you will be part of a sales and account management team driving revenue growth in one of the fastest-growing regions for Nasdaq’s data business.

You will also actively contribute to data product development, sales strategy and marketing campaigns relevant to your responsible territory.

We are open to candidates based in Tokyo or Hong Kong.

What You Will Do

  • Identify, develop and close new opportunities by working closely with prospects as well as existing clients
  • Execute the business unit’s near-term and long-term sales strategy, meeting individual sales targets and company business objectives
  • Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with the customer’s senior management to understand their data needs and offer the relevant Nasdaq data solutions
  • Conduct regular research identifying industry trends and competitive landscape
  • Supporting our co-marketing efforts with key clients by working closely with our in-house marketing team
  • What We Expect

  • At least 8 years of direct sales and account management experience
  • Knowledge of financial information services, financial markets or fintech industry
  • Excellent communication, planning and research skills with great attention to detail
  • Outstanding customer management and presentation skills
  • Native Japanese language proficiency and fluency in English
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly proficient with MS Office and Salesforce
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business
