About the Role

Responsible for maximising the sales of AIA products and services through multiple distribution / sales channels to meet individual / team quotas and AIA business objectivesRoles and Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Head of Business Development – AIA Agency to perform supervisory duties;
  • Lead the sales team to achieve Company’s business targets as well as manage the team, which includes training, coaching, motivating, monitoring subordinates and streamlining their sales workflows to achieve individual sales targets;
  • Develop and establish new sales distribution channels as well as maintain good relationship with clients and business partners;
  • Provide quotation & advice to clients / intermediaries as well as handle services & product enquiries;
  • Collaborate with different teams and manage projects including marketing activities, promotional campaigns, product development, etc.

    Own the end-to-end planning and execution of channel sales campaigns.

  • Develop sales strategies and annual plan to meet KPIs
  • Act as a subject matter expert of GI practices in the market for the whole team.

    Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in GI market.
  • Measure & report on key sales KPIs
  • Handle ad-hoc projects as assigned.
  • Job Requirements:

  • University degree in Business Administration or related disciplines, or Diploma in insurance or related disciplines;
  • At least 10 years’ relevant experience in General Insurance industry.
  • Fulfilment of the fit and proper criteria of the Insurance Authority for licensing as an individual insurance agent of the Company, and the minimum education and qualifications requirements, including but not limited to passes in IIQE Paper 1 & 2 [subject to the regulated activities to be conducted];
  • Qualified IIQAS, LOMA, ANZIIF (Senior Associate) or other related professional insurance qualifications an advantage;
  • Sales oriented, positive and can work under pressure; 
  • A team player with great initiative, positive and good interpersonal skills;
  • Good communication and presentation skills;
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
