Department/ Unit: School of Accountancy

Closing date: until the position(s) are filled

The School of Accountancy under the CUHK Business School now invites applications for the position of Senior Lecturer(s) or Lecturer(s).

Applicants should (i) have a higher degree, preferably with a doctoral degree in Mathematics or Statistics or Business/Management/Finance/Accounting or other related fields; (ii) demonstrate the ability for high quality teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels depending on the qualifications and experience; (iii) strong commitment to excellence in teaching and (iv) excellent communication skills in English.

Those who are able to customize and teach Business undergraduate and graduate courses in Algebra and Calculus, will be preferentially considered.


The appointee(s) will (i) design and teach new courses in Linear Algebra and Calculus, in Accounting and Finance / Business area at undergraduate level; (ii) serve as an academic advisor to students and provide academic guidance and advice to students; (iii) contribute to the School’s programme planning and coordination; and (iv) provide services for programmes, serve on committee and participate in other teaching and academic activities as assigned.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for two years commencing in August 2025, renewable subject to mutual agreement and satisfactory performance.
