Your New Role
The Sales Planner plays a key role in supporting the planning and execution of CNN’s sales strategy for the Philippines and Greater China region, helping to secure a leading position in a fast-evolving market.
This role is critical to the daily operations of the team and spans all aspects of the sales business, including client pitches, proposal development, and management of interns in their day-to-day tasks.
The Sales Planner also assists with coordination, communication, account management, and the day-to-day needs of representatives and clients across the Philippines and Greater China.
In addition, the role is responsible for contracts, billing, and senior administrative tasks within the team.
Candidates must have relevant media or agency experience, along with strong knowledge of the agency landscape and contacts.
Your Role Accountabilities
Coordinate and manage client needs across the market, ensuring clear communication and account servicing.
Support the strategic development of proposals, media schedules, presentations, and other client-specific documents tailored to relevant territories.
Assist the Sales Director in identifying and pursuing new prospective clients within the Philippines and Greater China (proactive lead generation).
Manage and optimize campaigns through brainstorming and data analysis, identifying opportunities for growth and new business.
Oversee the smooth execution of active campaigns, ensuring clients and representatives are consistently updated.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
At least 2 years of relevant media or agency experience.
Familiarity with the global media landscape is an advantage.
Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Experience managing or mentoring junior staff (e.g., sales assistants), while also reporting into the regional Manager.
Full-time role based in the Hong Kong office, with occasional travel to client sites and within the region.
Fluency in Cantonese required; working knowledge of spoken and written Mandarin is an advantage for effective communication with clients and stakeholder engagement.
