Responsible Officer (Type 1 & 4) Job Opening In Hong Kong, Hong Kong – Now Hiring OurCrowd


Job description

OurCrowd is seeking a full-time Responsible Officer (RO) licensed under the Hong Kong SFC (Types 1 & 4) for our Hong Kong office.

This individual will play a key role in supporting investor relations and fulfilling regulatory obligations.

The candidate will report to the Managing Director, Hong Kong, and serve as the firm’s licensed RO to oversee regulated activities.



Responsibilities:
  • Act as a Responsible Officer (Types 1 & 4) under the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Cap.

    571), ensuring full regulatory compliance
  • Supervise the company’s regulated business activities in Hong Kong and maintain robust governance standards
  • Serve as the key contact with the SFC and coordinate on licensing, audits, and inquiries
  • Oversee and ensure compliance of all promotional and investor materials with local regulations
  • Guide and support the Managing Director HK in serving high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutions
  • Conduct product due diligence, assist in onboarding investment offerings, and ensure compliance documentation is in place
  • Perform ongoing monitoring and internal compliance reviews to mitigate regulatory risk

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Relationship Manager or Officer in private banking or wealth management 
  • Holder of unconditional SFC Type 1 and Type 4 Responsible Officer licenses
  • Proven understanding of SFC regulations and experience interfacing with regulators
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
  • Self-driven, ethical, and capable of working independently with high accountability
  • University degree in Business or Finance or other relevant discipline preferred
