We are looking for full-time Research Assistants to work on a research project aiming to understand the health and well-being of young adults and elderly in Hong Kong.
The appointees will conduct surveys with Chinese elderly and young adults in Hong Kong.
Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree or above in Social Sciences, Social Work, Sociology or a related discipline.
They should have knowledge of face-to-face surveys; high proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese); excellent interpersonal and communication skills; be detail-oriented and reliable; have a strong sense of responsibility and the ability and willingness to adapt to changing field circumstances.
Previous work experience in conducting survey interviews with elderly or youth, including “door-knocking” surveys is preferred, but not required.
(Duration: 3 months, with a possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
A highly competitive salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
