Description
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree; (ii) preferably two to three years of work experience in project management; (iii) a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (preferably Cantonese); (iv) proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.), and Chinese word-processing; (v) strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving and organisational skills with detail-oriented mindset; (vi) a mature, self-motivated and responsible work attitude; and (vii) the ability to work independently and collaboratively with other team members.
Those with less experience may be considered for appointment as Junior Research Assistant.
The appointee will be responsible for (a) planning and organising promotional events (e.g. workshops, outreach activities, guest lectures, etc); (b) preparing promotional and project materials; (c) providing general administrative and logistical support to undergraduate admission and other Department events and activities; and (d) performing other duties as assigned.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for two years commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
