Our client, a leading bank, is seeking a forward-thinking professional to join its Transformation Office and help drive enterprise-wide digital initiatives.
This role focuses on designing intelligent workflows, applying process mining techniques to uncover inefficiencies, and implementing future-ready business architectures that enhance operational performance.
Responsibilities:
Partner with internal teams and external collaborators to develop and deliver a world-class business architecture for the bank.Manage the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale, complex digital transformation initiative for the bank's core banking systemOversee the planning, execution, and delivery of digital transformation projects, ensuring they align with the bank’s strategic objectives and are completed on time and within budget.Develop a comprehensive project plan, including scope, timeline, resources, and budgetManage and coordinate cross-functional teams (IT, business, operations, compliance) to execute the project plan.Design and implement intelligent workflows utilizing RPA, APIs, and agentic automation to streamline operations.Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies in a timely mannerLead digital transformation initiatives, including end-to-end workflow redesign, innovation projects, system enhancements, and process mining/improvement.Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across business units and functions to shape business strategies, map user-centric value streams, and translate these into actionable initiatives with high-quality deliverables.Support departmental leadership in planning and coordinating administrative procedures and systems, identifying opportunities for process optimization.Manage timelines and schedules for business initiatives and product development cycles, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.Required Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile) is a plus.5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the banking/financial services industryProven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, enterprise-wide technology projects.In-depth understanding of the project lifecycle in core banking systems, digital transformation initiatives, and related technologies, etc.Expertise in leading cross-functional teams and stakeholder management.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate, influence, and negotiate across diverse teams and management levels.
Familiarity with design thinking, lean methodologies, and agile practices is a plus.Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and toolsPMP or other relevant project management certification is preferredPossession of at least one recognized professional certification under the HKMA Enhanced Competency Framework (e.g., CISSP, CRISC, TOGAF) is advantageous.Knowledge of banking regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practicesProficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese.For more details, please feel free to ping me for a chat or send me an email at hfong@captarpartners.comWe apologies that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
