Project Co-ordinator II(s) (carrying the job title of ‘Events Officer’)
The appointee(s) will provide comprehensive administrative support for the operations of research centres and related academic activities in the Faculty.
Duties include (a) co-ordinating and managing academic events, such as seminars, symposia, conferences and workshops; (b) preparing logistical plans for various initiatives and events; (c) liaising with internal and external stakeholders and partners to facilitate collaborations and activities; (d) supporting the promotion and dissemination of research outputs and events; (e) providing support for Faculty-level events and activities; and (f) performing other duties as assigned.
Work at the Faculty’s Graduate Law Centre in Central and work outside normal office hours, including Saturdays, for event support is occasionally required.
Applicants should have (i) a recognised Bachelor’s degree; (ii) at least 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience, preferably in a university setting; (iii) proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (iv) a self-motivated and detailed-oriented work attitude, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision; (vi) strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with academic and administrative teams; (v) good time management and organisational skills; and (vi) proficiency in computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., and Chinese word-processing.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to 2 years (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract), renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
