Duties
The project is led by Professor WANG Xiaohui, with co-leadership from Professor Michael TSE and Professor Jonathan ZHU focusing on global academic mobility, social equity in academic mobility, and knowledge production and research innovation.
The scope of duties includes to:
Integrate multi-source data, including publications, patents, ORCID and LinkedIn;Develop predictive models for talent flow and retention;Create a talent flow index and monitoring dashboard;Publish annual reports to support evidence-based policymaking in the Greater Bay Area; andPerform any other duties as assigned. Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science/Information Science/Computational Communication, or related disciplines;Proficiency in text mining, network analysis, large language models (LLMs), and SQL/BigQuery; andRelevant research experience in scientometric and informetric analysis is highly desirable. Candidates with a PhD degree may be considered for appointment as Postdoctoral Fellow.
