The Asia-Pacific Institute of Business (APIB) is the executive education arm of the CUHK Business School.
Since 1990, APIB has been providing the Hong Kong and Asian business communities with unique learning programmes, research, and consultancy projects.
Applications are invited for the position of Part-time Research Associate(s) / Research Assistant(s) to support research and consultancy projects.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related discipline (for Research Assistant), or a Master’s degree in the above-mentioned disciplines plus four years of relevant post-qualification experience (for Research Associate); (ii) proven experience in analytical research methods; (iii) high proficiency in written English and Chinese, as well as spoken English, Cantonese, and Putonghua; (iv) excellent project management and interpersonal skills; (v) a strong sense of responsibility; and (vi) the ability to work independently under pressure and collaboratively within a team.
Candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment as Research Assistant.
The appointee(s) will be responsible for (a) assisting in the design and execution of research projects; (b) conducting data collection and performing qualitative and/or quantitative analysis; (c) contributing to the preparation of project deliverables; (d) assisting in the planning and execution of executive-level workshops or training sessions; (e) coordinating project logistics and liaising with stakeholders; and (f) performing other duties as required.
