We are seeking a talented individual to join our Business and Client Services (BCS) team at Marsh.
This role will be based in Hong Kong.
This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We will count on you to:
Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of placement and policy servicing tasks, including documentation, policy checks, reporting, data management, and project support.Set performance objectives and monitor productivity closely.Develop and implement new procedures to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy and process.Promote technology adoption and use data analytics to track performance.Establish quality control measures to minimize errors, ensure data integrity and manage audits.Ensure all operational activities comply with relevant insurance regulations, company policy and industry standards.Stay updated on changes in insurance regulations and best practices.Manage complaints and escalated operational issues.Collaborate with stakeholders and onshore/offshore teams to ensure effective operations.Provide coaching and training to the teams to ensure the achievement of Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Turnaround Times (TATs), accuracy standards, and overall business objectives.Support new technology implementations and operational improvements.Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by direct manager.Consolidate feedback from the stakeholders to identify and drive opportunities for continuous improvement.What you need to have:
3+ years’ experience in operations including management or supervisory role, with experience in the insurance industry is highly preferred.Proficient communication skills in spoken, listening, and written English and Cantonese are highly advantageous.Strong influencing and persuasion skills, with a self-motivated and resourceful approach to proactively delivering solutions and innovative ideas.Excellent written and oral communications skills, capable of clearly articulating issues and resolutions.Good project management, organizational, planning, and analytical skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint.Solid understanding of insurance processes and regulatory is highly preferred.Candidates with less experience may be considered for Assistant Manager roles.Why join our team:
