Principal responsibilities:
The role holder will principally support the team in delivering the ERM-focused objectives, with some opportunities to contribute to Capital-related projects.
The role holder will:
Support the Group-wide Risk Identification processes.Support the annual business plan risk assessment and ORSA report production.Support the development and embedding of the Group Risk Appetite Framework and review of aggregate Group and LBU level risk appetites.Liaise with internal stakeholders to seek appropriate inputs, performing relevant analysis and originate critical insights required for the risk management of both Group and local capital metrics and initiatives.Participate in other ERM and capital initiatives as required.The role holder may also be involved with:
the Group‘s Stress and Scenario Testing programme.assessments on the affordability of dividends and viability statement of the Group.Skills, knowledge & experience sought:
Fully qualified actuary (FIA, FSA or equivalent) with 6+ years of experience.Diverse knowledge within the insurance industry, including:key insurance industry trends and their associated risks in multiple markets where the Group has operations.key features of life insurance products and their associated risks.
An international perspective on products and market characteristics would be an advantage.principles and practices underlying Enterprise Risk Management.profit drivers and risk exposures of a global insurance group.valuation of assets and insurance liabilities.regulatory environment and trends.Work experience within multiple functions (Actuarial, Risk, Finance, Internal Audit and Strategy etc.) of an insurer would be beneficial.Sound understanding of different capital and reporting standards and the principles underlying them.Sound actuarial modelling knowledge.Core competencies required:
