Objective

  • We are seeking an experienced People Business Partner to join our team and support key business leaders across both operational and corporate functions.

    You will provide expert HR guidance to align people strategies with business objectives, and foster a positive, high-performing environment.
  • Role Purpose

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing professional People advice for aligning people with organizational goals.

  • Oversee the complete employee journey including onboarding, engagement, performance management, talent development and retention.

  • Advise on staff matters such as performance management, career counselling, conflicts resolution, and disciplinary actions, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

  • Act as the first point of contact for employees regarding employment terms, benefits, policy interpretation, and career development.

  • Collaborate with the Total Rewards team on performance review, promotion and salary review discussions.

  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to support the recruitment needs for experienced hire and young talents.

  • Encourage and coordinate employee engagement surveys, from planning through communication and follow-up on action items.

  • Champion positive workplace culture by supporting and participating in engagement, wellness and culture transformation initiatives.

  • Partner with department heads on learning needs analysis, talent pipeline development and retention strategy.

  • Participate in HR related projects such as digital HR implementation and ad-hoc duties as assigned.
  • The Ideal Candidate

  • Degree or above in Human Resources Management or related discipline.

  • Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience in a sizable, multicultural, fast-paced environment, with at least 3 years at a managerial position.

  • Prior experience working in the airline industry, especially in supporting Outport teams, is highly preferred.

  • Strong ability to communicate with and influence stakeholders on complex HR matters and provide sound and actionable solutions.

  • Expert knowledge of Hong Kong employment laws and regulations.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
