We are partnering exclusively with a prominent FMCG group, having 15+ years' establishment with strong brand awareness in market, to assist their recruitment on a HR Manager assignment.

Reporting to the CEO, this HR Director role will lead a small team of 4 to oversee HR & administrative functions in the organization.

Ideally, the candidate will be someone with proven track record managing both China and Hong Kong HR operation.

Given the lean structure within the HR divsion, this role will require hands-on coverage on operation (especially talent acquisition) and can act as business partner to advisor senior management strategic planning.

Candidate with food & beverage/manufacturing/retail/IT industry background will be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee HR & administrative functions within company
  • Manage staff recruitment, onboarding/resignation and their documentation
  • Review existing corporate structure and working process and identify areas of improvement
  • Ensure employees' labor contracts meet with laws and regulations
  • Design/Create training material and conduct training sessions
  • Handle the compensation and benefits function
  • Research market practice and improve company's welfare policies
  • Establish performance mangement & appraisal system for staff
  • Maintain office environment and oversee the relevant operation on procurement, inventory management, leasing, office space planning, events organization and other maintenance/administrative duties
  • Job Requirements
  • Degree holder or above in Human Resources, Business Administration or relevant disciplines
  • Minimum 20 years' working experience within HR & administration functions with at least 8 years in a people management role
  • Able to work with a very lean HR team and be hands-on with operation (especially talent acquisition)
  • Industry experience gained within food & beverage, retail, manufacturing and IT sectors will be highly preferred
  • Prior experience transiting business online will be advantageous
  • Familiarity with the labor laws, regulations and working cultures of both China and Hong Kong
  • Technically proficient with HR management systems
  • Fluent communication, both written and spoken, in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
