PURPOSE
Lead and manage local and global teams to prioritize, design and deliver new technical solutions for all markets within OneMod to support Omne platform covering insurance functionality.
Accountable for performance and results of own team(s) consisting of managers and individual contributors for the technical delivery of products and services that meet and exceed customer needs and achieve sustainable business growth.
Lead the Production Support and Maintenance of One Mod Platform supporting the customer platforms.
KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES
As a thought leader with deep technical expertise in areas critical to functional objectives, partner with Local Product Owners and other C-suite Executives in FWD markets to create and manage the technical delivery of value with a common approach with both internal and external resources, leveraging Agile expertise to support the group.
Take ownership to ensure stability, Production support and Maintenance of OneMod Ecosystem including data, Devops and Engineering capabilities.Establish a shared managed service model delivery model for the OneMod ecosystem.Manage budget and cost to ensure priorities are delivered within budget and quality.Take ownership of Agile driven strategic initiatives in and where needed to take the lead as Scrum Master on delivery of initiatives to achieve expected benefits and business outcomes in areas that digital & technology products & services shall enable.
Help Business Unites to close capability gaps and un-met customer needs into executable strategies to deliver greater values for customers and resulting better business outcomes.
Partner and collaborate with Group Leadership and market leadership to deliver the strategic customer outcomes.Lead to define key problems during delivery of the initiatives and identify right & practical solutions to resolve these constructivelyBe a thought leader on insurance technical solutions and partner to Business Units to all Functions to foster the development of needed capabilities to ensure the successful delivery of insurance and engagement features and functionality to serve the markets across FWD at scale.Proactively manage the delivery of the solution engineering teams globally against expected benefits and business outcomes.
Create & keep the momentum through simplifying the long-term strategic outcomes to continuous deliveries of incremental value to the Business UnitsFoster a culture of continuous delivery of customer value aligned with FWDs overall Vision and StrategyCoach team and develop capabilities to ensure the continuous and frequent delivery of value to customers and stakeholdersFoster close stakeholder engagement and management across all initiatives.QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
15+ years’ experience in engineering leadership and technical delivery10+ years delivery of technological solutions on Mobile applications , .net stack, ETL’s, data and cloud across region.Certified Engineer and developer on multiple technologies.KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS
Thought leader and comprehensive understanding of Financial services, Insurance, Transformation, Agile, Project delivery and Commercial success in AsiaDemonstrated expertise of managing teams in the delivery of Agile transformation & change within a multi-national organizationExtensive experience working with digital and technology solutions and partners.Demonstrated exceptional people management and stakeholder management skills in a multi-cultural environmentStrong communication skills and high level of sensitivity to audience to modify the beliefs / opinionsAbility to negotiate resistance to change to help Group and country teams to deliver tangible results
