Position Overview
As a key member of the Global Sourcing & Purchasing leadership team, the Head of Business Strategy & Analytics serves as a strategic partner to the Head of Global Sourcing & Purchasing.
This role leads long-terms sourcing strategy development, delivers data-driven insights that shape sourcing priorities, business performance and unlock business value.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Partner with the Head of Global Sourcing & Purchasing to lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies aligned with functional goals and business priorities.
Drive transformation initiatives that enhance sourcing agility, cost efficiency, and value creation across the global supply chain.
Influence and align cross-functional and regional stakeholders to drive functional commitment and execution of sourcing initiatives.Lead a high-performing analytics team to deliver forward-looking insights, scenario modeling, and performance diagnostics that inform strategic decisions.
Translate complex data into compelling narratives and executive-ready presentations that drive action.Identify and lead initiatives that improve sourcing efficiency, reduce cost, and enhance supplier performance.
Oversee the development of KPIs and dashboards to monitor progress against strategic goals.
Prepare high-impact reports such as Long-Term Strategies, Quarterly Business Reviews, and Sourcing Scorecards.
Provide leadership and strategic direction through effective team and people management, fostering a high-performance culture across multiple functions and geographies.
Develop future leaders by mentoring talent, promoting cross-functional collaboration, and championing belonging, equity, and psychological safety. Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.Demonstrated depth of experience in strategy, analytics, or business transformation, ideally within sourcing, supply chain, or consulting environments.Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with measurable business impact.Strong business acumen with the ability to connect strategic vision to operational execution.Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.Strong analytical mindset with experience in advanced analytics, data visualization, and executive reporting.Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, navigate ambiguity, and drive change in a global matrixed organization.High proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with data tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, VBA) is a plus.Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
