Job summary
The successful candidate will join one of Global Markets sales teams, engaged in cross-asset products marketing.
Successful candidate will work closely with senior salespeople to support the daily activities of servicing clients and marketing new products, to enhance our overall institutional relationship with Financial Institution (“FI”) clients.
The FI Solution Sales focus on banks and NBFI clients (e.g. insurance, asset managers) engagement, in HK, China, Singapore and ASEAN.
Solution-based client engagement focus on strategic, regulatory-driven or other non-flow transactions with target FI's.
Products:
Rates and Credit: Governments and Credit Bonds; private placements; and Secondary Credit products (including illiquid assets); Structured Credit NotesFinancing Solutions: Repo and other FI Financing products, Repacks, Total Return Swaps and CDS-based financing;Derivatives: IRS, CCS, Bond forward, TRS, Swaptions and FVAs;Foreign Exchange – spot, swap, forward, options or structured FX;Equities: Derivatives-based hedging/yield enhancement solutions.
This Trainee should have already completed all graduation requirements by Sep 2025 and will be able to start working full-time from Oct 2025. Trainee program is one year to begin with and possible for extension up to 2 years in total, subject to performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Work with the Sales team on day-to-day basis to work on marketing activities for HK based clientsCreate marketing plans / pitchbooks and relate these to marketing opportunitiesProvide support in pre and post trade procedureCoordinate various tasks which are involved in transaction execution or facilitation of business (Middle Office, Operations, Legal, Compliance, credit support, valuation, client service)Get acquainted with the financial markets, its instruments & various structures promoted by the bankLearn and support various administrative works associated with the solution team in China and Hong Kong, spreadsheets and software required to perform the daily routinesPersonal data provided by job applicants will be used strictly in accordance with the employer’s personal data policies, a copy of which will be provided immediately upon request.

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent
Academic qualification / Speciality
Master/ Bachelor degree holders, with strong academic background in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Engineering, Science or Engineering with less than 12 months’ full time experience Level of minimal experience

Prior experience in global financial markets products will be an advantage Required skills

Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
Fluency in Cantonese is preferred.
