Join our Business Consulting FSRM team within FSO and you will provide a highly integrated broad array of risk management services to capital market participants within global banking, capital markets and asset management.

Your key responsibilities
Business development and management of EY projects with respect to:
Substantive matters of current and emerging HKMA, SFC, and global regulatory expectations regarding ESG and Climate RiskStrategy setting and implementation of net-zero commitments made by our clientsAdvice and guidance on structuring client organizational model (people, process and technology) for ESG / climate riskStructure and function of compliance roles and responsibilities and business modelsUnderstanding of ESG and Climate aligned technology and data solutions including fintech and regtech innovationRegulatory change management including planning and communication with regulatorsPolicy development efforts in Hong KongClimate Risk Management Framework DevelopmentRevision or formulation of new policies and controls aligned with regulatory and compliance guidelines and requirementsCollaboration with our ESG / climate risk professionals in other parts of the globe (Americas, EMEIA and APAC) on ESG / climate risk To qualify for the role you must have
A university degree majoring in sustainability, climate risk, accounting, information systems, data, business or legal related subjectsAt least 3+ years of solid experience in ESG / Sustainability preferably within the financial services industry, either in a consulting role or in-house.
In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management is a must.
Candidates with lesser experience will be considered at Manager LevelRobust practical experience of internal controls, regulatory compliance, risk governance and related operational knowledgeFamiliarity with Financial Services domain and the regulatory environment of Hong Kong with experience in liaising with HKMA and SFC.
Regional experience would be an advantage.Good command of both written and spoken English; dual language skills are a plusAbility to interact with executive levels of clients, regulators and EY management Good influencing skills and stakeholder relationship management skills, advanced conflict management/resolution skills and project coordination experienceStrong report-writing skills, with ability to create and organize varying forms of business information while developing it into clear, meaningful, professional reports and presentationsIndustry related certification is a plus (, FRM, CPA/ CA, CFA, GARP SCR)Sustainability certification is a plus What working at EY offers
