We are seeking a talented individual to join our Fiduciary team.
This role will be based in Hong Kong.
Fiduciary administers cash accounting and collection services for business transactions with reinsurance clients and markets, ensuring timely receipt and settlement of payable balances, keeping internal records and reconciling transactions.
A Fiduciary Assistant plays an important role in the day-to-day administrative support.
We will count on you to:
Facilitate interactions with the markets regularly to secure the collection of outstanding fiduciary balances.Help personal cash processing and fiduciary targets, including the use of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to facilitate reporting from the CSS Dashboard and other system tools.Ensure all time bound activities are addressed within defined parameters; this includes but is not limited to following up with markets for payment and properly coding outstanding balances to increase efficiency.Work alongside market fiduciary and/ or excess of loss client team associates (US) to assist (as required) with collection of funds.Meet with client teams at regular intervals to review and assign balances.Provide inputs for the evolution of the operational model at all levels of the organization to promote new process improvement ideas leveraging technology solutions.Promote relationships with brokers, clients and markets to understand issues, resolve problems and queries and review working practices.Facilitate team meetings and activities in order to encourage sharing of opinions, ideas, knowledge and solutions and seek opportunities to increase own understanding to improve the services provided.What you need to have:
Undergraduate degree or diploma ideally in accounting or financial disciplines.Experience within a corporate environment and a minimum of 1-year hands-on experience in cash accounting, cash settlement and/ or credit control.Solid interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight reporting schedules.Strong proficiency in MS office, especially in Word and Excel software.Strong communication skills – fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese/ Mandarin).Why join our team:
