**Job Description**



The Functional Consultant assists customers with implementing Oracle enterprise applications ERP solutions.

The role requires heavy interaction with customers, implementation teams and partners.

He/she will have implementation expertise spanning the full implementation cycle and be adept at implementing Oracle applications functionality.



As a functional consultant, you will be responsible for deliverables at every phase of the software implementation lifecycle such as:



1.

Preparing for, facilitating, and gaining agreement on global design

2.

Documenting the client’s as-is process flows and communicating best practices for the to-be optimal state

3.

Adapting the solution for localizations or business processes specific to a client’s business unit or operating location

4.

Documenting and gaining agreement on the client configuration

5.

Implementing and configuring applications

6.

Developing a test strategy to validate the solution and confirming successful deployment

7.

Identifying risks or issues associated with assigned tasks; taking initiative to proactively alert project leadership of any risks or issues



**Responsibilities**



+ Collaborate with customers to gather and document customer business requirements

+ Ability to influence customers to modify current business practices, as required;

+ Ability to manage scope and expectations with the customer

+ Work with customers to implement and configure ERP solution to support customer business requirements

+ Establish credibility and rapport with internal and external stakeholders; Ability to work within project teams and collaborate cross-departmentally

+ Work collaboratively within a project team both on and off customer sites

+ Analyze and design solutions for business requirements which may include complex configurations and/or technical components

+ Assist in delivering client facing workshops

+ Define detailed functional requirements

+ Work with technical teams to design, develop and test automations and integrations

+ Perform quality reviews of deliverables developed by other team members

+ Collaborate and communicate with Project Managers and colleagues to facilitate on time and on budget project delivery

+ Train and mentor team members

+ Achieve or exceed billable utilization targets

+ Continue to increase product knowledge and pursue relevant certifications

**Qualifications**



+ Recent graduate or final-year student of a Bachelor’s degree programme or above in relevant discipline(s), including Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Human Resources, Business Management, Computer Science, etc.

+ 1 year of experience in application implementation, fresh graduates are also welcome.

+ Has a keen interest in customer facing consultant role.

+ Ability to guide customer based on leading practices

+ Ability to work well in teams, as well as independently

+ Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills

+ Proficiency in English, verbal and written

+ Critical thinker, problem solver, curious learner

+ Able to learn new products and technologies on the job quickly

+ Capable to work independently, take initiative with minimal supervision yet can participate as a team member with a willingness to help where needed
