Department Description
Delta One Trading is part of the Equity Derivatives department responsible for providing Indexation to Societe Generale's client base across Asia Pacific.
The range of product covered are Futures, swaps, ETFs. We provide liquidity to the market on OTC and listed products (index and single stock derivatives), optimize inventory, funding and index tracking.
Responsibilities :
Grow the Delta one business on Asian developed markets with a focus on Hong Kong
Active trading and market making of index and ETF products
Ensure timely and accurate marking of the books (repo, dividends..)
Doing critical analysis and finding new trading opportunities
Supervising and training of junior traders
Doing normal size executions at close for all markets and run algo excutions.
Help price and risk manage clients trades (swap, futures, rolls..) on Developed Markets Perimeter
Ensure daily Delta One tasks are performed timely and accurately (PnL, Risk, Bookings..)
Help update and develop new automatic tools for the desk
Profile required
Hold a relevant Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology or similar
Previous working experience in the financial field is preferred
Strong Programming skills are required
Able to work under pressure and deal with exposure to risk
Result oriented, determined and able to make reliable decisions
Fluent English is mandatory
