We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer at the AVP level with expertise in cloud-based database development, particularly using AWS, Snowflake, and Python.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Snowflake architecture, performance optimization, and Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
Prior experience in the Financial Services industry and familiarity with financial terms and data is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using cloud-native technologies. Build and optimize data models and database structures to support analytics, reporting, and regulatory compliance. Apply in-depth knowledge of Snowflake architecture to ensure efficient data storage, sharing, and performance tuning. Collaborate with global stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver robust solutions. Implement best practices in data governance, security, and performance optimization. Support migration and integration of legacy systems into modern cloud platforms (AWS/Snowflake). Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and continuous delivery. Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum years of experience in data engineering or database development. Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (, S, Lambda, Glue, Redshift). Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture, including schema design, performance optimization, and data sharing. Proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and scripting. Solid understanding of SQL and relational database concepts. Experience working in Agile environments, with familiarity in Scrum and Kanban methodologies. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Previous experience in the Financial Services industry and familiarity with financial terms and data is an advantage. Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Certifications in AWS or Snowflake are a strong advantage. Exposure to big data technologies (, Spark, Kafka) is a plus. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (, Git).
