Contract Assistant Manager (Digital Forensic) (2-Year Contract) – Enforcement (Strategy and Technology Team)

The Strategy and Technology Team of the Enforcement Division is seeking a Contract Assistant Manager with expertise in digital forensics.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-impact investigations and strategic enforcement initiatives.
The role will involve close collaboration with internal teams, law enforcement agencies, and external experts to drive technology-enabled enforcement outcomes.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead forensic acquisition, preservation, and advanced analysis of electronic evidence from computers, mobile devices, external storage, cloud platforms, and IoT environments using industry-standard tools (e.g., EnCase, FTK, Nuix, Relativity, Oxygen, GMDSoft, Passware).
- Prepare detailed forensic reports and factual statements for criminal, civil, and regulatory proceedings, ensuring integrity and chain of custody.
- Collaborate with investigators, legal counsel, IT specialists, and external forensic vendors to facilitate comprehensive, multi-disciplinary investigations.
- Explore and apply emerging technologies, including AI, to enhance forensic workflows and outcomes.
- Ensure strict adherence to legal, ethical, and confidentiality standards in all forensic activities.
Requirements:
- A recognised university degree in STEM or professional certifications in digital forensics, eDiscovery, or cyber investigations.
- Minimum 3 years’ hands-on experience in digital forensic investigations, including evidence collection, analysis, data processing, and reporting.
- Proficiency with a variety of forensic tools and platforms (as listed above).
- Strong understanding of computer and mobile operating systems, networks, file systems, and cloud environments.
- Programming skills (e.g., Python) and familiarity with AI-powered forensic analysis platforms are advantageous.
