Among various duties of the External Affairs (EA) Department, one of the key roles is to act as a bridge between the Club and relevant external stakeholders through developing and maintaining amicable working relationships with them.
EA is responsible for strategizing and implementing overall stakeholder engagement strategies / planning to support the Club’s business operations and achieve business objectives as well as other critical issues at both but not limited to District Council and Legislative Council levels.
EA also formulates plans and strategies in supporting business departments of the Club by managing regulatory matters pertaining to the Club’s overall operation.
It also oversees the Club’s Responsible Gambling Policy and practices to ensure that they are on par with international best practices; and is responsible for raising public awareness on the Club’s efforts in this area.
Organization of social/community service programmes is also a key responsibility of EA.
