Jupiter provides investment services to individual and institutional investors through mutual funds (UK unit trusts, Luxembourg SICAVs and Dublin OEICs), separately managed accounts and sub-advised funds.

Jupiter has experienced a period of international growth with offices open in EMEA, APAC and the US. 

Background

The is a Sales-support role based in Hong Kong, reporting to Head of Sales, North Asia.

The role is integral to the Jupiter sales team covering North Asia.

 The incumbent will be required to provide sales support functions to the North Asia Sales team with the goal of building the Asia business.

 

We are looking for a team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills, high energy and a positive learning attitude with the ability to use their own initiative.

Relevant client service experience would be preferable.

A genuine interest to learn and excel will be key in identifying the most suitable candidate.


Key Responsibilities

  • To be highly competent and effective in performing all sales-support functions:
    • Ensuring a self-discipline and understanding to achieve high standards of client service with consistent & relevant follow-up and follow-through.
    • Assisting Sales Directors with sales pitches, client meetings and queries.
    • Working closely with Marketing team to organise and host client events, and provide support to campaigns.
    • Working with Client Service in Singapore and globally to coordinate efforts in supporting client needs.
    • Collecting data, coordinating and working closely with colleagues from various departments to complete client DDQs and RFPs.
    • Assisting with daily client email traffic, ensuring requests are managed in an efficient and timely manner.
    • Be well-versed in client account opening and maintenance procedures.
    • Working with Legal, Compliance and Oversight officers on client onboarding.
    • Working with Client Reporting to complete regular reports for clients.
    • Upkeeping the Salesforce database.
    • Contribute to improvements in the working processes of the Sales team.
    •  Support Head of Hong Kong in basic  office logistics, and administration.


Desired Skills / Experience

  • 3-5 years relevant industry experience
  • Direct sales/client-facing/business development experience would be preferable but not essential if other skills are evident.
  • Good knowledge of, and interest in financial markets and investments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including good written English
  • Team player mentality
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Affable and likeable personality
