We are looking for a BU Financial Controller to lead the finance team across Asia, Europe and Americas in driving the company’s financial strategy and planning, overseeing regulatory compliance, and ensuring the accuracy of the company’s financial results for IPG Business Units.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the delivery of accurate and timely financial reports to senior management, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.Lead strategic financial and business transformations to drive sales growth and market share growthDevelop and refine financial strategies in alignment with the company’s long-term goals.Lead strategic projects such as system implementations, process improvements, and other initiatives to enhance financial performance and operational efficiency.Lead 5 years growth plan and P/L improvementSpearhead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational plans.Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to senior leadership to support decision-making processesOversee the development and analysis of financial models to explore future scenarios and guide strategic planning.Ensure that financial transactions, policies, and procedures meet the organization’s short and long-term objectives, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.Maintain control of the company’s financial health by managing risks, overseeing internal audits, and ensuring the integrity of financial data.Direct the consolidation of financial results, ensuring compliance with international standards.Lead, motivate, and develop the team, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and professional growth.Ensure effective recruitment, training, and retention strategies are in place to build a skilled and engaged finance team.Promote collaboration across finance teams and with business unit leaders to ensure cohesive financial planning and reporting.Drive the adoption and utilization of business intelligence tools and data analytics practices to enhance financial decision-making and operational insights.Oversee the enhancement of financial systems and ERP integrations to improve reporting capabilities and operational efficiency.Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a must10+ years of progressive finance experience, with exposure to controlling, FP&A, and business partnering.Experience in manufacturing environments, preferably within industrial products or automotive sectors.Proficient in both English and Chinese
