The Office of Student Affairs
(OSA) is responsible for the provision of desirable services for students of
the University and enhancing their learning experience.
The successful
candidate will join a dynamic team dedicated to fostering whole-person development
and a vibrant campus life for students.
Responsibilities
• Oversee the formation and management of sports teams, providing diversified trainings, and collaborating with coaches and stakeholders to ensure smooth operation and optimal performance of the teams
• Formulate, implement, and review strategic plans to promote physical fitness and well-being that align with the University's Integrated Learning Objectives
• Assist with the recruitment and admission of elite athletes and manage related publicity
• Support in organising sports events and ceremonies
• Represent the University by serving as convenors and member of the relevant committees ( those in the University Sports Federation of Hong Kong, China)
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)
• Work outside normal office hours, including weekends, as required
Requirements
• A recognised Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Physical Education, Sports Science or relevant disciplines
• At least five years of relevant post-qualification experience, preferably in the tertiary education sector or recognised organisations
• Extensive experience in managing sports teams and organising recreational and physical wellness activities
• Familiarity with relevant sports regulations and safety protocols
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated with strong organisational, interpersonal, communication skills and proficiency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua
Candidates with less/more experience will be
considered for appointment at a relevant rank.
Salary and

The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and
experience.
