We are seeking a creative and strategic Assistant Manager to join our MBA Marketing and Admissions team.
This role focuses on content development, brand storytelling, and digital engagement to strengthen the HKUST MBA brand across markets and industries.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content creation, digital communications, and market intelligence, with a passion for crafting compelling narratives that resonate with prospective students and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Branding and Content Development
Develop and manage high-quality content across digital platforms, including website, email campaigns, social media, and program brochures.Ensure all communications reflect the HKUST MBA brand voice and positioning, with consistency and impact.Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to produce multimedia content that enhances engagement and drives recruitment outcomes.Maintain editorial calendars and oversee content updates to ensure relevance and timeliness.Digital Engagement and Communications
Support the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital channels.Monitor performance metrics and user behavior to refine messaging and improve outreach effectiveness.Contribute to the development of targeted communications for different audience segments, including prospective students, alumni, and corporate partners.Market Intelligence and Research
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform content strategy and positioning.Stay current with trends in graduate business education, digital marketing, and student engagement.Provide insights and recommendations to enhance brand visibility and competitiveness.Recruitment Support and Relationship Management
Serve as a key point of contact for prospective applicants, delivering a personalized and professional recruitment experience.Respond to enquiries from applicants, prospects, and internal stakeholders.Coordinate with the admissions team to ensure a seamless applicant journey from initial contact to enrollment.Engage current students and alumni to support storytelling and recruitment efforts.Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in content creation, marketing communications, or admissions, preferably in higher education or graduate management programs.Strong writing and editorial skills, with the ability to adapt tone and messaging for different platforms and audiences.Familiarity with digital marketing tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Google Analytics).Experience in brand development and strategic communications.Excellent organizational and planning skills, with attention to detail and timelines.Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.(Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
