Reporting to the Senior Manager (Development) in the Development and Alumni Office, the appointee will contribute to fulfilling the outreach and fundraising duties of the University while developing his/her own portfolio.
The appointee will handle the fundraising work of the Office.
Specifically, he/she will (i) assist the Manager(s) and Senior Manager of the team in identifying and cultivating prospective donors, developing appropriate options for them, and soliciting and managing donations; (ii) manage stewardship/networking events for donors and prospective donors; and (iii) maintain online engagement initiatives to strengthen relationships with broader communities.
The appointee will play a key role in fulfilling the team's fundraising targets while simultaneously developing his/her own portfolio to scale results over time.
The ideal candidate should be genuinely interested in people, possess an outgoing personality, and have a passion for personal development.
Outstanding communication skills, networking abilities, a proactive attitude, and the drive and enthusiasm to carry out projects to completion are essential.
Applicants should have a recognized bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of work experience, preferably in sales and marketing or the education sector.
Experience in event management would be an advantage.
(Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
