Duties
The appointees will be assigned to different functions (Payment, Receipts and Payroll) depending on their background and relevant work experience and will report to the respective Finance Manager.
Major duties include to:
Administer accounts receivable/payable and staff disbursements to ensure that they are processed timely, accurately, and in accordance with established policies/procedures; Collect fees and charges, government subvention, donations and miscellaneous income; Prepare cash flow forecast and cost analysis; Place fixed deposits and assist in monitoring of investment performance; Review payroll and benefits payment for full-time and part-time staff, and ensure timely contribution to ORSO/MPF schemes and tax reporting/filing; and Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned. Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related disciplines, and a qualified accountant with at least 7 years of post-qualification experience in universities/sizeable organisations; Proficiency in PC applications and strong analytical skills in Excel; Being self-initiative with excellent communication skills; A strong sense of responsibility, good supervisory skill and ability to work independently; and Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) are required.
Hands-on experience in Oracle Financials, Banner Students/Payroll or other ERP systems is preferred.
