Job Descriptions:
Support in-force reinsurance arrangements management by assessing effectiveness of the treaties and recommending appropriate actions such as recapture.Support obtaining Reinsurance Committee’s and Group’s approval on any proposed changes to reinsurance arrangements.
Perform impact analysis across various reporting basis to support the proposal to the management.Review treaty terms for both existing and new treaties and negotiate with reinsurers for better termsMonitor counterparty risk exposure and collaborate with Group Office on the regular threshold reviews.
Ensure compliance within the approved limits.Handle reinsurance-related submissions (e.g., Risk Transfer Template, Pillar 3, SOX audit).Prepare meeting materials and support Reinsurance Committee meetings.Liaise with the modelling team to ensure accurate reflection of reinsurance arrangements in Prophet, especially for new changes.Job Requirements:
University degree holder majoring in Actuarial studies, Statistics or related fieldsAssociate level in actuarial exam progressMinimum 4 years of actuarial working experience, candidates with fewer experience will be considered as senior actuarial associateKnowledge in Prophet is preferredGood command of both spoken and written EnglishDetailed minded with strong analytical skills
