**Job Description**

AECOM is seeking a technically proficient and detail-oriented **Analyst Programmer – GIS** to support the development and enhancement of GIS applications and workflows.

The successful candidate will work closely with system analysts, developers, and client-side teams to deliver robust and user-friendly GIS solutions.

This role may require working on-site at client offices.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Develop and maintain GIS applications for web and desktop environments.

+ Implement data editing workflows, map production tools, and integration modules.

+ Collaborate with system analysts and database architects to ensure functional alignment.

+ Conduct testing, debugging, and performance tuning of GIS applications.

+ Prepare technical documentation and user guides.

+ Provide support and troubleshooting for deployed solutions

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, GIS, or related field.

+ **3 to 5 years** of experience in application development, preferably in GIS environments.

+ Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and web development frameworks.

+ Experience with Esri ArcGIS API, ArcPy, and related SDKs.

+ Strong understanding of spatial data structures and GIS workflows.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Experience with PostgreSQL/PostGIS and Oracle Spatial.

+ Familiarity with **QGIS** and open-source GIS tools.

+ Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.

+ Fluent in English and Cantonese
