Dynamics of the Role
We are seeking an Advisor / Senior Advisor – Strategy and Planning, Hong Kong to join our International Business.
The role will be based in our Hong Kong office with responsibility for all aspects of strategy, planning, and executive support within TransUnion’s Hong Kong business.
TransUnion has been going through significant expansion with presence in more than 70 countries.

This role will work with TransUnion’s Asia Chief Strategy Officer, to help define growth strategy for TransUnion’s international businesses and will require close collaboration with the APAC Leadership Team to build strategies and translate the same into operating plans.
What You'll Bring:
MBA degree is required with at least 8-10 years of total experience in Strategy and Planning at professional or management level or equivalent work experience demonstrating a strong record in strategy and planning field.We require the ideal candidate to have 3-4 years of experience at a top-tier consulting firmExperience in information services, financial services, insurance, digital industries is preferred.
Knowledge about the credit reporting industry and international business planning experience along with strong facilitation skills would be a plus.Experience with Go-to-Market strategy development.
Strong critical thinking skills, ability to assimilate and understand new concepts in short time frames.Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work across functions and levels of seniority.Exceptional financial and analytical skills.Ability to work independently or as part of a dynamic team in a rapidly changing environment.Great project management capabilities and highly organized with attention to detail; comfortable working under deadlines and producing key deliverables.Sound business judgment and excellent problem solving and influencing skills, especially working with employees at all job levels in international markets.Proven ability to quickly grasp industry and business-wide concepts in order to assess implications to drive actions and to capitalize on opportunities.Excellent storytelling and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively with various stakeholders in addition to developing compelling proposals, reports and presentationsRequired working knowledge of software applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint with exceptional presentation skills.Ability to travel at least 25% of the time and perform other duties as assigned.Entrepreneurial and results driven achieverGood understanding of China and the Greater Bay Area market preferred.

This would include establishing linkages between the portfolio management, budgeting and planning processes.
Integrating the impact of strategic and tactical plans on the P&L and associated budgets.Continually assessing cross-industry best practices, new business models and techniques to enhance current International and regional planning practices.
Integrating creativity into strategy formulation and execution.Executing ad hoc strategic analysis for the leadership team.
Gathering competitive intelligence on an ongoing basis, monitoring strategies, and predicting competitive response from key competitors.Any other high-visibility, high-stakes initiatives/projects involving C-suite stakeholders, as may be assigned to this position from time to timeThis is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
