The
School of Graduate Studies is established for strengthening the central
support for postgraduate programmes as well as the monitoring of their quality
in alignment with the University's strategic direction of expanding and
providing quality postgraduate education.
Responsibilities
• Provide a wide range of administrative support to matters pertaining to postgraduate studies, including academic quality assurance of programmes, admissions, registration, student records, assessment and financial sponsorships, day-to-day programme management and academic services to postgraduate students
• Provide secretarial support to committees 
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)
Requirements
• A good first degree plus at least four years of relevant work experience in tertiary education, preferably in taught postgraduate student admissions, programme/course information administration, and data collection/compilation/analysis
• A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills
• Strong interpersonal, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills
• The ability to take the initiative and to carry out duties independently and under tight schedule
• Good team spirit with a strong sense of responsibility
• Knowledge of IT applications
