Responsibilities:
Interns will be allocated to different Actuarial teams and be exposed to various actuarial functions, which include:
Product Implementation: Involve in the actual implementation of new product launch with participation in model update and supporting UATChannel Support: Liaises with different department/ channel support to handle special quotation and ad hoc enquiries from other departmentsExperience Monitoring: Perform experience and data analysis investigationsFinancial Reporting and Analysis: Participate in regular financial reporting of business results across various reporting metrics.
Support the implementation of the new accounting standard for insurance contracts (IFRS 17).Participating Business Management: Participate in Par fund management, including asset shares calculation, bonus review and other projectsCapital Management: Assist in capital adequacy under RBC basis and impacts assessment of different capital management initiatives.Modelling and Innovation: Support the maintenance, development, and enhancement of actuarial models.
