Job description

Introduction:

Our client a leading financial advisory firm specializing in international insurance and inter-generational wealth planning solutions, is seeking a meticulous and high-performing Sales Illustrations & Wealth Planning Operations Specialist to join our team is looking for a candidate in Malaysia under the Operations Team

Responsibilities:

You will be a key operational partner to our Wealth Planners, ensuring the timely and accurate generation of crucial financial illustrations required for our high-net-worth (HNW) clients across Asia.

Key Responsibilities

Complex Quoting & Illustration:

Prepare, analyze, and deliver highly complex international life insurance sales illustrations and quotations, with a focus on structures involving jumbo life policies and inter-generational wealth transfer strategies.

Ensure all financial projections are calculated with absolute accuracy and strictly comply with the guidelines of our global top-rated insurance partners and relevant regulatory bodies.

Advisory Support:

Act as a subject matter expert on product mechanics and illustration capabilities, supporting Wealth Planners and Relationship Managers by preparing detailed presentation materials for client meetings.

Collaborate directly with global insurers operations teams to resolve complex illustration queries and negotiate terms.

System Integrity & Process Improvement:

Conduct thorough User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new illustration software releases, quoting modules, and product system implementations to maintain functional integrity and data reliability.

Develop, maintain, and rigorously update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the quoting and operations workflow, promoting consistency and maximizing operational efficiency across our regional offices.

Data & Documentation:

Manage and archive client-facing documentation and internal policy records in compliance with audit and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience

Required: Ideally the candidate has a minimum of 2 years of operational experience within the financial services industry, specifically within life insurance brokerage, wealth management, or private banking operations.

Demonstrated proficiency in preparing complex life insurance illustrations (e.g., Universal Life, Whole Life) and an understanding of their use in wealth planning contexts.

Exceptional attention to detail, a methodical approach to financial calculation, and a strong commitment to delivering accurate work under pressure.
