**What you'll do:**



As an Associate within the Global Subsidiary Banking Department of the Global Corporate Banking Division, you will find yourself at the heart of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding service to global subsidiary clients.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will revolve around building meaningful connections with customers, understanding their unique requirements, and collaborating with colleagues across different functions to provide comprehensive banking solutions.

By proactively monitoring client portfolios and staying abreast of market dynamics, you will help ensure that all activities balance risk while supporting the bank’s broader strategic growth ambitions.

+ Promote and establish the bank’s corporate banking business by engaging with global subsidiary customers, ensuring their needs are met through tailored solutions.

+ Develop and maintain robust customer relationships that facilitate cross-selling of a diverse range of banking products, enhancing overall client satisfaction.

+ Assist the team head in planning and implementing strategic objectives that align with the long-term vision of the bank, contributing to sustainable business growth.

+ Collaborate closely with product partners and various internal departments to deliver seamless service experiences that exceed customer expectations.

+ Monitor customer performance and credit status on a regular basis, taking prompt action when necessary to mitigate risks and uphold high standards of service.

+ Support new customer acquisition initiatives by identifying potential leads and participating actively in business development activities.

**What you bring:**



To excel as an Associate within the Global Subsidiary Banking Department of Global Corporate Banking, your background should reflect hands-on experience in serving sophisticated corporate clients within an international context.

Your proven track record in client relationship management, product knowledge, risk assessment and a track record of strong execution, positions you as a trusted advisor capable of serving our clients.

Your fluency in both English and Chinese enables you to connect authentically with stakeholders across borders.

+ A university degree in Business or a related discipline provides you with a solid academic foundation for success in this role.

+ At least three years’ experience working within corporate banking equips you with practical knowledge of industry best practices.

+ Previous exposure to managing global subsidiary customers is highly desirable as it demonstrates your familiarity with complex client structures.

+ Proven credit analysis skills enable you to assess risk accurately while maintaining strong commercial awareness of market dynamics.

+ Comprehensive understanding of corporate banking products allows you to identify suitable solutions for diverse client needs.

+ Exceptional communication abilities—both written and spoken—in English and Chinese ensure effective interactions with clients from varied backgrounds.

+ Outstanding presentation skills empower you to convey ideas clearly during meetings or pitches.

+ A collaborative mindset helps you work seamlessly with colleagues from different departments towards shared objectives.

+ Proficiency in using standard PC applications supports efficient completion of daily tasks and reporting requirements.
